Carla T. Savalli
Carla Savalli is Executive Director of Odyssey Youth Center. She has more than 25 years of experience as a communications and media professional, and is the author of the 2006 “Newsroom of the Future” report, which examined the multimedia challenges and best practices of the American newspaper industry. Before joining Odyssey, she was Senior Editor for Local News and Innovation at The Spokesman-Review. She is the 2008 winner of the Anna Quindlen Award for Excellence in Journalism in Behalf of Children and Families for her work developing the reporting of The Spokesman-Review’s groundbreaking “Our Kids: Our Business” community project. She is a Spokane native and a 2004 graduate of Leadership Spokane.
Ian Sullivan
Ian Sullivan is the Operations Coordinator of Odyssey Youth Center. He has worked with the LGBT community at the school, community, and regional levels. While a student at Gonzaga University Ian served as President of HERO: A Gay Straight Alliance while working as a student Programs Developer at the university's LGBT Resource Center. Ian also had the privilege of serving on the Gonzaga University Committee on Diversity as well as a regional network of college GSAs and LGBT Centers. A native of the Puget Sound region, Ian has adopted Spokane as his new home.
Dawn Bird
Dawn Bird is an entrepreneur of 24 years, specializing in small business and non-profit bookkeeping, compliance and accountability. She is the bookkeeper for OYC as well as 15 other small businesses in the Spokane community. She has a BA degree in Business & Public Administration with a minor in Marketing from Eastern Washington University.
