Programs Manager

Position Overview

The Programs Manager is responsible for all programing and day to day operations of the drop-in center and acts as the primary facilitator for Odyssey’s training program.  Key duties include youth program facilitation, volunteer mentor recruitment and supervision, and youth advising. This position reports directly to the Executive Director and acts as the direct supervisor for all drop-in center volunteer mentors. ​


  • Full time position (40 hours/week), hourly, non-exempt

  • $16-$20 an hour

  • Reports to Executive Director

  • 10 paid holidays a year, with 15 days paid time off

  • Monthly Health Reimbursement Agreement provided

Odyssey is seeking candidates with a passion for youth voice and a drive to promote equity for LGBTQ+ youth in the community.   


  • 2+ years’ experience in youth development or peer mentoring programs, specifically with teens and/or young adults. Can be in a professional or volunteer capacity. 

  • Demonstrated experience managing a team of coworkers or volunteers in a volunteer or professional capacity. 

  • Possess an understanding of LGBTQ+ lived experiences

  • Experience utilizing an intersectional and racial equity lens in your work

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Collaboration skills across a variety of constituencies

  • Excellent time management, ability to advance multiple projects with varying timelines
